We have made changes to the input, output, content, and format of the Geocoding and Census Variable Intersection Services.
To accommodate these changes, the Texas A&M GeoServices Service API's have all been upgraded to version 2.96. The geocoding and census intersection API URL's have been updated and are listed on the geocoding API page, and the census intersection API page.
All users should begin migrating their web services calls to use these new versions. A new desktop geocoding client will be available available on the download page soon.
The most significant changes to the Texas A&M GeoServices Geocoding and Census Intersection API's are the following:
- Data for the 1990 and 2010 Census have been added. Users can now select which version of the census data (1990, 2000, or 2010) census data they would like associated with the output of the geocoding service and the census intersection service. These are settings in the geocoding batch, interactive, and API services as well as the census batch, interactive, and API services.
