Texas A&M Geography
Geocoding

Overview

Geocoding is the process of converting non-spatial locational data into its corresponding spatial representation, most typically converting postal address data into geographic coordinates (latitude and longitude). The Texas A&M Geoservices Geocoder represents the current version of research-based geocoding software, and is continually being improved. The services available on this site allow a user to process a single address (parsed or non-parsed) as well as a database of records in batch.

If you encounter any problems or find any cases where the software fails, we would like to hear about it so we can work to improve the quality of the services. Please let us know.
