Working with GIS data and geo-processing services can be difficult.
We have created a few tutorial videos which walk you through some of the most common steps needed to
utilize functions and services from the Texas A&M GeoServices site.
If there is a task that you would like us to show you how to do, please just
request a new tutorial.
These are super easy for us to create and the more we make the easier it will be for our users to use our site!

Possibly the hardest thing to do is to get your data files ready to use with our services.
Should I format as CSV? Will excel work?
These are all questions that everyone has.
These tutorials will guide you through some of the most common steps necessary to get your data to us in a format we can understand.
Once your data are in the correct format, you need to get them to us.
Unfortunately, we have a semi-complicated process for receiving your data which involves a few steps.
Most are simple once you know what to do, but that first time can be a doozy.
These tutorials walk you through the process step-by-step.
Many of the system which are available on the Texas A&M GeoServices site can also be run locally on your desktop using some of the
installable tools which can be downloaded from this site. These tutorials will guide you through the steps necessary to get
you up and running.
Can't find what you need?
That smooth Texan accent you hear in most of the tutorial belongs to one Mr. Michael Schwind, TAMU Undergrad in Geography.
We like to keep Michael busy and out of trouble, so if you have anything you would like demo'd, please just
let us know and we will get him on the case.
