The polygon tracing tool provided on this site is an interactive Google Maps-based service for drawing geographic polygons on a graphical map interface and storing them in a database. The service allows you to upload a database of records that contain an initial geographic point (to use as a reference location) and then iteratively process each of the records by drawing one or more geographic polygons which will be stored in the database along with the record. This database can then be downloaded for whatever use you deem appropriate, or it can be left online to display each the polygons that have been drawn and associated with each of the records.
