API's updated to version 4.01

By Payton Baldridge - October 09, 2013

We have made changes to the input, output, content, and format of the Geocoding Services.

To accommodate these changes, the Texas A&M GeoServices Service API's have all been upgraded to version 4.01. This includes the Geocoding API, Address Parsing and Normalization API, and Census Variable Intersection API. All API URL's have been updated and are listed on the respective API page for each service. We have also added a Reverse Geocoding API.

All users should begin to migrate their web services calls to use these new versions. API Versions prior to 3.01 will be disabled in 30 days - 2.95, 2.95, 2.94, etc. API Version 3.01 will be disabled in 90 days.

The most significant changes to the WebGIS Geocoding API are as follows:

Multiple years of Census data wil be returned at once.
Better ZIP Code data have been added.
Multiple results wll be returned when an in put address is ambiguous.

Please let us know if you have any questions, run into any problems, or need any help.
