Undergraduate Student Technician Positions Available

Dr. Daniel W. Goldberg in the Department of Geography, at Texas A&M University (TAMU) invites applications for one or more Undergraduate Student Technician position to begin immediately. The responsibilities of this position include answering phone and email inquiries related to the online GIS applications and services offered by Dr. Goldberg’s research group (https://geoservices.tamu.edu), technical support, billing and invoicing, user account management, marketing, web design, and general office support activities. Qualified candidates should have customer service and/or financial management experience, a technical background, and experience with databases. Experience with modern programming languages (.Net, Python, R, C++, etc.), GIS software, and server–based systems are all plusses.  Preference will be given to applicants with programming backgrounds, excellent communication skills, and work-study status.
