As evident from the broad range of Texas A&M Colleges, Departments, and Research Clusters, Centers, and Institutes, TAMU faculty, students, and staff interested in and/or directly working on or with GIScience-related issues cover a large swath of the GIScience landscape from basic to applied to translational work.
The number of TAMU faculty interested in and/or directly working or collaborating to develop, apply, and/or teach GIScience would number over a hundred. The following individuals represent a small sampling of those working at the various TAMU academic and research units across campus. Those listed have been selected as exemplars of how GIScience can be used as a level to propel research, teaching, and service to the highest levels of success.
